That is what I was trying to say. It seems he always has an INT of the first one today, but nobody talks about the second one where he threw it straight to the defender.

I saw the second one. Took all the wind out of the Lions sails.

Let me restate that. His first pick today was a fluke, but how many times most we defend him over a fluke pick before we start looking at him as part of the problem.

I know. Guy get's a free pass on every loss. Even with 3 picks. That is why I wanted to point out his similarities with Cutler. In fact, Cutler has better stats in most cases.

Stafford gets bailed out by Johnson?

He will be ok... I think he is better than Cutler

Idk how many times.

But it's clearly more than six years.

Cutler has won a playoff game.

Once again how can you blame Stafford for the first INT? How can you blame Stafford for Ebron's drop pass?
How can you not think maybe Stafford is not a good leader when the same shit happens every week and every year?
This is one of the best posts on tLB since we all immigrated here.

Could have been one back in the old country too.

Comp% - YPA - TD/Int - QB Rate - W/L

Staff- 59.6 - 7.0 - 1.5 - 83.6 - 37/45

Cutlet- 61.6 - 7.2 - 1.4 - 85.0 - 64/61

The one stat that is missing that may separate a little is fumbles. Not sure? Cutler was avg. almost 1.98 turnovers a game so far in his career.

We may be comparing two piles of shit here. I will still take the current pile though.

He's also beaten a winning team on the road at least once in his life.

It was his defense that helped there. Which may now tip the scale in favor of Cutler. As Stafford did not with a number two defense.

@Rollingthndr i have to give props on this thread. Actually have to think on it a little. At least I do. At the end of the day again though I'll take Stafford. He may, may put it together one day. Cutler will never have that chance.

I will take him over half of the other QB's starting in the league. He has everything a QB could ask for, golden arm, very high intellegence and the best WR to ever lace up a pair of cleats. There is just something missing though. He just can't seem to put it together.

Stafford was having a great game before Ingram came though unblocked in the opening drive of the second half. I think the damage to his elbow on that play also had a lot to do with how under thrown the second pick was.

Stafford was completely different in the second half, I think his arm is hurt more then they will admit.

I think every qb is a bit different when they are being pressured, hit and smashed into the ground.

I actually think he got hit in the head too. That had an effect, but like Mike Tyson always said " Everyone has a gameplan until they get punched in the mouth".

Stafford has not been much better. The stats are a bit misleeading because many of Cutlers passes were less than 5 yards to Matt Forte. Staff never had a RB that could help like that. He does now though so we will see.

Take away all the dump off passes to RBs and then compare the stats.

Cutler had done WAY more with WAY less.

Cutler > Stafford

Pains me deeply to admit it.

I don't know how to find stats minus dump off to rbs. But cutler has a higher Y/Attempt than Stafford for his career. That matters with Tannehill, not sure if it still matters when it's an inconvenient stat for Staffdefenders or not.

Hope I find out.
