I agree with you. I think this HAS to be a major factor. In fact, my proposal is that there is an "integrity committee" in place. If you do certain things which bring your character into place via that committee - then they kick you out of the damn race. Simple.

(btw, I'm not completely with you on InVinceible Young, but he didn't win it and that's another debate).

I agree with all of those who are hoping Mariota wins the Heisman. Class act for sure. We had Tim Tebow for 4 years and he was always doing something worthwhile outside of football. Congrats to Oregon for having a stand up guy.

The problem is the shitheads mess it up for everyone. Example: Oklahoma. We've got a bunch of guys who have done missionary work, gone to Haiti to help with disaster relief, spent a lot of time at children's hospitals, etc. Then we get a couple of guys who use some chick for a speed bag and the news is full of nothing but stories about the bad apples.
