I see what you're saying, but even you have to admit, none of this would've happened if they hadn't decided to surround him and not let him off the field. He wasn't instigating anything, nor was anyone else on Ohio State. I'm not defending the decision he made, or that Hall made, but this all started with the Michigan players' thuggish decision.

Even if it is just one play, it is at least something, and I think that's what the majority of the posters thought should happen. Yes, the trolls and haters would have him drawn and quartered, but they would complain about anything.

Well it's nice that he finally caved into public pressure, however..................when it comes to doing the right thing one shouldn't be have to be told what to do by the public. Meyer should have come out in the post-game press conference and said something to the effect of "that behavior is not representative of Ohio State and it's football program, and he will be suspended at least one game."

You've gotta be kidding me, dude. That is a trashy comment to make. Since coming to OSU, Urban has been an extremely respectable disciplinarian. Hell, he suspended Carlos Hyde 3 games for not being guilty of a misdemeanor while Hoke gave Frank Clark 1 game for being guilty of a felony. Perhaps you should look at your own coach before coming after ours.

Secondly, it is not Urban Meyer's job to appease the media and sports fans, it's his job to run his team. He didn't have a "time frame" by which he was to announce this. It happened before the game and that's all that matters. Acting like announcing this on Friday as opposed to Monday means something is ignorant and, to be honest, really unbecoming of one of the better Michigan posters on this board.
