Yeah, he's looked pretty solid tonight. Shitty first period penalty included. He's played with some urgency.

Yeah he is playing like he should stay...too bad Bylsma won't see that and Engelland will continue to play.

Toronto got a gift there. Yeah, Geno high sticked the puck, but Bernier scored on himself :L

Are you suggesting that if you re-direct a shot with a high stick but it doesn't beat the goalie perfectly clean, that the high stick should be waved off and the goal should count?

I think the question is mostly that if the puck does all sorts of stuff or is thrown toward the net by another entity, does the high stick count the same way?

As it turns out, it does. Had the defenseman or Sutter knocked the puck in, though, would the result have been different?

Sutter is playing a good game. He must like midgets as wingers to make himself feel A LOT taller.

It's irrelevant now. Leafs choked away a 4-1 lead as it is. Even with a waved off goal:clap:

That whole line is really clicking tonight.

Yeah they really are. Have to give Chris Conner props but with him, he is only good in small (literally and figuratively) doses, not sure worth full times spot.

That's a tough icing call. I'm pretty sure they could have gotten to that puck if they had skated at all.

You think I mind much? I mean, I don't really want them to lose but there's pretty much no other way that either of Carlyle or Nonis will get canned unless one of them touches Tim Leiweke's 2nd grade daughter where she pees and the other one takes Polaroids

The Penguins did not concede a single shot that period. That's one way to make sure of a comeback.

That whole line is really clicking tonight.

Everyone gets to look like they're clicking on offense when you're playing the league's scheduled blue and white target practice. Lotsa shots all around

Pfffft, you obviously haven't watched the Leafs with a lead much. That's planned strategy.

LOL...and no shots in OT that was planned knowing Zatkoff will be rusty for the shootout...
