Andre Johnson's one of those TO guys when it comes to staying in great shape ... the dude can still catch 70/80 balls in his sleep ... I would absolutely bring him in. Yeah, we'll be geriatric, but he and Gore can still get it done until we can retool. In the mean time lets keep buying our D.

I was not in favor of dumping Howie at all. But i knew i had to give him a change to screw things up. IMO he has. He's let our top 3 skill position players go. I guess Mariota can throw, run AND catch his own passes.

I dont know how he plans to ride these old veterans through the season when they all bitch about his work outs.

I can't say that I'm that sorry to see Maclin go. But I don't like that we don't seem to have an upgrade ready either. I love Matthews and think he will be even better this year. But his real step up won't likely be until next year.

You have to wonder if we are in a full rebuild and chip is going to tank the season. Get Mariotta and sabotage the talent around him to get a high pick in the draft next year and then just develop talent, I mean Oregon players, as they come available.

I will give chip EVER benefit of the doubt. But my only concern from the start was whether he understood players needed to be here longer than 2 years. It's not college ball. I wonder if chip is going to make this a routine, as he feels scheme trumps player/skillset completely. If so, he is going to make the exact same mistake Reid did early on.
