Game Thread: MAC CCG Bowling Green vs Northern Illinois

Currently, the NIU Huskies are 4.5 point favorites over the BGSU Falcons in Detroit tonight.

I'm thinking about heading downtown to catch this game tonight...then again, instead I just might order a pizza and watch the MACtion on TV.

I think I'll root for BGSU, because I'd rather see Oregon or Arizona State get an at large BCS bid over NIU.

Yeah, I'll probably see if I can get a couple buddies to go downtown tonight for the game plus perhaps dinner in Greektown, plus a visit to a casino.

Speaking of Greektown, it's located only a few blocks south of Ford Field......tell your niece (if she likes Greek food) to stop there for a bite to eat either before or after the game, as there are several pretty good restaurants in Greektown to choose from. Tell her to just walk south (towards the river/Canada) down Brush Street (Brush is on the west side of Ford Field), a few blocks until she hits Monroe Street (Greektown area). It should be hoppin on a Friday night.......the Greektown Casino is right there too.

Shirley y'all cain't be serious. Northern Illinois deserves a BCS bid every bit as much as Ohio State does if they beat Bowling Green. Both teams beat Iowa, both teams blew out Purdue. There's not a dimes worth of difference between Ohio and N.Illinois.
