Oregon fans should be Bowling Green fans

I personally dont think Oregon Ducks v.2013 deserve a BCS bid.

But I still want to see the Ducks get a shot at a blue blood in a BCS Bowl. They would have to play much much better than they have over the last 4 weeks to even stay on the field.

But IMO, The Orange Bowl is not goin to take Oregon over an ACC team in Clemson. The 2 have the same record and similar resumes. So why take Oregon over Clemson. Dont think they will or would.

With Fresno losing they are eliminated from the non aq BCS spot. FOr Duck fans hoping for a BCS bid, our best option is rooting for a Bowling Green win over Northern Illinois in the MAC title game.

So... Go Bowling Green.... How expectations have changed. Going from win out and play for the NATTY to cheering for Bowling freakin Green so the Ducks can back in to the Fiesta Bowl.

Northern Illinois' offense is dependent on running the ball well which is what Bowling Green stops

Bowling Green has one of the best defensive lines in the country.

You may see Indiana's blowout win over them, but Indiana's spread offense basically neutralized the effect of Bowling Green's great defensive line. Bowling Green also didn't play their best that game.

Bowling Green's offense will put up some points too, got a solid running game and a quarterback who doesn't have the best of arm but is mobile enough to run around and make plays.

This may have been covered already, but if Bowling Green wins, all that means is that UCF goes to the Fiesta instead of NIU, and the Sugar Bowl picks another team...not sure that team would be Oregon.

I honestly don't know how this will play out but if it's a choice between Oregon and Clemson my guess would be OU. Depending on how the fans have traveled recently if OU doesn't travel well ( have no idea on the subject) then that will factor.

clemson would travel better than oregon. for the bcs title game, there were teice as many auburn fans in glendale than oregon fans.
