On a bright note, it looks like Pitts prized recruit for this years class will decommit and is talking with Penn State and...Gibby (aka the closer)

I surely hope Pelini doesnt go to sPitt, he is a hell of a coach. Maybe not though, as nine wins is the hallmark of a shitty coach............. Ive not seen Bradley's name mentioned, I certainly hope not, he still has work to do here.

I think Pelini could take Pitt to another level. maybe not great but much better. They make that move and begin to be contenders in the ACC then Im in on bringing back the brawl, it will carry more weight then. But as stated by one of their own, Ill believe they have their head on strait when I see it.

Just guessing, but Foster was probably given that salary to lock him when he was in the running for HC. He interviewed here I believe around the same time RR left the program. I thought that when VT left the BE that they would be in contention for a NC due to the Special Teams play and Foster's defense.

That is something I wonder about Fraud, he has the same assistants that for the most part follow him wherever he goes, wonder what his secret is to keeping his staff together?????? When Nehlen was here, it seemed like there were 3-4 new assistants every year, same with Holgorsen at the helm.

Two of Rich's former coaches went out and did pretty well for themselves… Butch Jones has the Tennessee folk believing again, and Todd Graham had his team one win away from playing in the Pac 12 championship game.

Trickett left WVU for FSU when he grew tired of Casteel's defense, and felt the defense… especially Gibson's secondary… kept WVU out of the BCS NCG in '06.

Maybe Rich's current coaching staff is happy with their status and isn't looking to move upward in their profession?

Thankfully, one of his coaches left him in the desert to follow the Country Roads back home. I wasn't thrilled with Gibby's return from a coaching perspective… but I was happy about his recruiting history. Nice to see he can coach a little bit too…

That is because of an 800,000 annuity (bonus) that kicks in January 2015.

He is getting ready to sign a new contract for what some are saying is SEC $$$$. And he will be worth every damn penny of it.

Honestly I think Rich found a bunch of guys that are good coaches, but not head coach material or do not have that desire to become a head coach. McGee and Casteel have been top assistants for a long time, but you never hear about schools going after them.
