Leal has 2 years of eligibility remaining so, yes, he would have one more after Logan leaves. You have to think he's going to go, though.

Leal has already redshirted and is one year behind LT. Unless he goes down a division or gets some sort of waiver, he won't get more playing time elsewhere.

The only good thing that can come out of this that's a certainty is that the staff can redshirt Parker and Hodges if they want to. If LT left and Leal stayed then I'd think they'd want either Parker or Hodges as a backup immediately. Now I think Leal might leave and I wouldn't blame him. Not being given a chance after LTs sorry performance in 2012 wouldn't give him much hope for playing time in 2013. Still I don't think the new staff would pull the same stuff they did this year. LT would be yanked

24/7 is the best source of pay info on VT football. That is without a doubt. No one is always right, but JC would not have said he was coming back if he wasn't sure.
