Oh look!! A Kobe bashing thread by a Lebroniac. You NEVER see those!!

And look at all of the Lebroniacs that have shown up. What a shock!!

Of course, if anyone posts something negative about Lebron, the "usual suspects" that have shown up on this thread will cry like little girls and claim whoever posted it is a "jealous, butthurt hater!!

Gotta love the internet. Brings out the finest folks. All you ladies need is a post or 2 from turnip and JD and the circle jerk will be complete!!
You mean a factual post about your boy Kobe that I usually provide?

Has any other player missed 30 shots in an NBA game?

Los Angeles Lakers at Boston Celtics Box Score, November 7, 2002 | Basketball-Reference.com

Kobe:
"I told Paul (Pierce) it was just like the old days,'' Bryant said. "It felt like we were part of history. The old days of Larry and Magic. But that leprechaun is still walking around the rafters.''

"Bryant had 41 points on an inconsistent night in which he shot just 4-for-15 in the first half, scored 18 in the third quarter and then missed 10 consecutive field-goal attempts down the stretch. He was 17-for-47 from the field overall, and 0-for-8 from 3-point range."

Phil Jackson:
"I haven't seen anybody shoot 47 shots before, ever. There's a limitation to what you can do,'' Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "I was telling the team, 'He carried us back into the game. Now stop going to the well. It can dry up.'''

Hey were just pointing out possible future basketball trivia questions. What player took the most shots ever in the history of the NBA....and missed?

Actually, you could probably win some bar bets with that one!!

Most would probably guess Iverson!!

Oh look, the circle jerk is almost complete. Here's JD with his usual one game stat that he thinks proves something.

Funny part is, I'm not even defending Kobe, I'm just making fun of you and the rest of the Lebroniacs.

And you guys are so quick to defend Lebron/bash Kobe that you can't even see it!!

I'm starting to feel cruel. Like I'm picking on retarded kids or something.

or arrogance.

Clutch stat is so overrated. MJ shot 50%
LBJ shoots about 47% iirc

both of them shoot what they normally shoot...then there is Kobe who shoots worse.

But when it really counts, in the playoffs, MJ hit on 50%, Lebron, 43.8%

And for the record, MJ through his first 10 years hit in the clutch during the playoffs at a 60% clip...

Botslayer could stand to be reminded that swigging from a bottle of booze is more characteristic of teenagers pretending they're more mature than they actually are than of grown ups.

And it's also characteristic of future Alcoholics Anonymous members.

I'm a light drinker myself but have known many alcoholics in my time.

Out of the greats, Kobe is by far the most overrated. He is 45% for his career shooting, but for example compared to LBJ who is 49%.

Lebron scores more in the post than Kobe does with his drives to the basket, etc. Kobe has been more of a perimeter player throughout his career than Lebron. Lebron should have a higher field goal percentage. More of his shots come from closer to the hoop. When you consider the difference in shots, 4% isn't that big of a difference.

It's really not that difficult to understand if you know a little about the game.

I agree..... Lol...

Kobe's still going to be dominant in the post because his footwork is the best when compared to any other guard. LeBron uses his athletic gifts to his complete advantage when it comes to driving or putting his head down, Kobe isn't that young anymore and needs more skill in order to get it done, which he does.

I guess all the Lebron fans Missed the following

Lebron shooting 33 pct in the finals against S.A. getting SWEPT.

Lebron disgracing the country by leading them to 2 Bronze medals earning the nickname LeBRONZE

Shooting 33 pct in the 7 game series to Boston in 08, shooting the Cavs out of the series.

The 2 airballs from the ft line against S.A....

Failing to make the finals in back to back years againts with a great cavs team that won 60 plus games.

Humiliating himself against Dalllas especially in the 4th qtr the entire series.

Setting an Alltime NBA record for biggest dropoff in finals history...Mr. Clutch...LOL..

Choking away game 6 of the finals last year only to be SAVED by Ray Allen...LOL

Yep those airballs in the last minute were clutch...LOL...

Lebron is mr. clutch here's a link that proves it....He's actually 44.5 pct in the clutch on tuesdays, with the team down by 3 or less against western confrernece teams....

Yep, ignore the fact that Lebron has failed miserably in every clutch situtation his entire career and had to cowardly run to a team LOADED WITH SUPERSTARS to win anything....

The guy is clutch...LOL....

Hilarious Lebron fans have found some obsure link to prove that the sky isn't blue. Water isn't wet. And Lebron isn't an enormous choker his entire career.

LOL...Lebron is clutch..

The point is that players shoot a lot closer to their actual shooting percentage than what anyone wants to admit and that clutch stats are largely overrated.

Who seriously drinks from the bottle? Heathens, I swear.

And my drinking habits or future social networks are not the topic of this thread or forum. I do think there is a drinking forum though.

This thread pretty much confirms that Kobe is overrated and not "clutch".

Call Kobe whatever you want. It reeks of jealousy. I'll call him a 5-time champion who has given his all for the Lakers. As I said, the jealousy is clear.
