Lester will probably win his 9th tonight and keep us 1st in our division.

We'll get the position back quickly in the, to me, unlikely event he doesn't. Unlike last year we've got a manager
with a few clues about his job.

A pet fantasy, which I am well aware IS only a fantasy: The Sinstripes fire Girardi and replace him with Not-My-Valentine.

Lester is not as much a worry as our offense, IMO.

It appears to me there's a greater chance of a rain-out than a loss.

I live only about 1 1/2 miles from Kenmore Square, if you didn't already know.

So far Lester's needing fewer pitches per out than Hernandez. That's always a good sign.
