I'm still puzzled as to why he was taken out in a game that was so close from start to finish. Its not as if he stunk out the joint

I don't think it was a bad move to take him out. 5 goals on 20 shots is certainly not impressive, but more than that, I think changing 'tenders often gives a team a jump.

Regardless of who they go with, doesn't it make more sense to not announce it (at least publicly) until as close to game time as possible?

i would've preferred boosh in there.. more athletic for a team thats going to get quality chances.. leighton stops low-quality chances well, not high quality ones.. also i have more trust in boosh, he's a calmer presence back there

Boucher has never won a game in the finals. Leighton's never lost one.

You gotta figure he's going to be on a short leash. He looked very nervous throughout game 1 and never really improved his composure as the game progressed.


If it were up to me, I would start Boucher tonight.
