Wow, this team really sucks. Been trash since Bolland went down.

They were pretty trashy before that too, .940 SV% hides a lot of problems but it's not sustainable.

I can't see the Leafs being in a playoff position after Xmas. In fact; hello Buffalo.

They may not even be a .500 team by Christmas. Their schedule coming up is brutal

If they can somehow survive the next month, and Bolland can come back by the end of January, there could be some hope for them. I guess the positive thing is they play more home games in December.

We're talking about Dave Bolland here. He's a nice little player, but they were a crappy possession team (with abnormally fortunate goaltending) with him too.

If he comes back and we still blow chunks, I'll come back here and say you were right. But I still think we were a much more confident and less confused team with him in the line up. It won't hurt having Loops back too. Neither are gods gift to hockey, but much better than the scrubs who are called up to replace them.
