FYI:

1620 The Zone Podcasts - Play Now

Nate Clouse (from Rivals) thinks Nebraska is the team to beat for Lamar. He has a top 5, but they all have QB commits as well. The uncertainty of the Dillman thing is working in our favor according to him. Good news for us, Lamar would be a heck of a pick up. I think this goes into October/November.

JJM despises him for showboating one time into the endzone

Jackson is a marginal prospect who'd be stepping in to a shark tank of a position room. He's honestly not good enough. He just isn't. Good luck to him at the Division 2 school of his choosing after he picks a shitty D-1 school and doesn't even crack the 3 deep.

Zack Darlington... Every time I compare tape he's the dude who looks like a straight up winner.

Him and Stanton... Two of my favorite QB prospects Bo has brought in as far as on the hoof. Taylor was easily my favorite just watching his tape. You know when a kid is a gamer. Darlington is a gamer for sure. Stanton? I dunno.

We're the prototype school for a DTQB to excel in, it's astounding we can't land The One, more one than anyone

We'll see Stanton in some capacity this year, I really liked him coming out of HS, kids just green yet. This is a big year for our QBs

I believe he has had interest in Nebraska, but I don't believe he'll play here.

Did I ever say he'd play here? You said his interest in Nebraska had gone cold, I said I wouldn't be so sure about that. I never claimed his commitment to be immenent just that he had legitimate interest. I actually think that as more comes out it seems Nebraska has a better shot than you realize. Most recruiting pundits are saying that as well.

And finall, I have to disagree Brasky. He's a good talent and a good DT QB for this class... you may be right that he never plays a down but that's what happens in a loaded room. The QB position for 2016 and 2017 classes is much more important to land a stud IMO.

FYI Lamar Jackson is supposedly visiting for the Miami game. Would be a great thing for us as Dillman is playing JV for his HS squad because he was ruled ineligible for Varisty by the Texas High School Football people. We need another QB in this class and Jackson fits the bill.

Personally, I like to see the Ameer Abdullah and Rex Burkhead type recruits on film. They score, hand the ball to the ref, and celebrate with their teammates. At no point is it about them as an individual.

So I suppose you don't like that Kenny Bell celebrates after scores or Randy Gregory celebrates after sacks? I prefer that type of celebration too but don't think celebrating is too indicative of character.

I bet if Dillman was thinking of going to Texas or Texas A&M he would have been eligible.

Texas is a state full of very petty people.

BTW, I am not saying Dillman is a good QB or anything like that. I have already posted about Dillman and how can anyone make a decision on a kid that has never really played any football.

I swear to God the minute I see one Nebraska Football player single a guy out from the other side while running into the endzone, I will be done with that kid.

It's a slap in the face to your entire team. To think that you're so important that you can go retarded mid-play and risk not making the play.

Selfish little boys.

I never said he was committing here and I never said I had inside info... don't be an ass. He's still visiting for the Nebraska game, I doubt he commits here, but we're not completely out of it yet.

He'll be in town tomorrow for the game. Currently a Louisville commit.
