I had Thompson on my fantasy team last season. And he stunk on ice. I thought he was a real sleeper. It seems I'm always 1 season too early with my sleepers. Now he'll probably tear up the league.

Well, what we witnessed with the Warriors last night is that the logo still has the ability to recognize talent and put together a winning basketball team. Jerry West, who is a consultant with the Warriors has orchestrated the construction of a very good basketball team and he has a template formula he apparently rolls out and makes a team great.

He did it with the Lakers, he did it in Memphis, and he is doing it in San Fran. The man still knows how to recognize talent, get a team a credible coach, make effacacious trades that a good for basketball and business, and then he adjusts and tweaks a team into greatness or nearly so. And Pat Riley is doing the same in Miami. Ex-Lakers plying their trade, continuing the winning tradition started by Dr. Jerry Buss a long time ago!!
