........And now it begins, but don't worry this won't be the last story of its kind. Can't wait until all of those articles come out depicting how epically screwed up this organization is. I wonder what the plan is, if he does indeed leave D.C.? Better be a good one!

LOL - you are a joke. Why didn't you simply place this link in one of the other 100+ threads that you have started on this subject? So you post an article from some 20 something unknown hack that presents absolutely no new facts & this is supposed to be some type of revelation?

It has been stated for quite a while that Cousins will take the tag while they continue to negotiate the long term deal & we will see what happens. In the meantime all of these mediots will throw out rumor after rumor with no basis. I love how at the beginning of this article it states that Cousins would consider playing fot the 49ers & won't sign before getting tagged. Towards the end of the article they throw out Keim's name (to make this crap look credible) & state that Cousins will only sign w/ the 49ers. WTF?!

Oh well - please - open up another 20-30 more threads on this subject - it is what you do best.

This is hardly news. And saying a player is greedy are simply the words of fans of the player's team who do not understand, there is nothing at all greedy about a player maximizing his earnings. Nothing at all.

Greedy as opposed to NFL owners? He bet on himself, then had a killer season. He deserves every penny.

He did not have a killer season. Cmon now.

He never has felt welcomed here since sitting on the bench behind the bust known as RG3. Dudes about as sensitive as they come. My guess is he's tossing out number so incredibly high the Redskins can't possibly sign him. Stupid on his part if he goes to SF IMO where another 3 years to build continuity awaits. Plus is the team any good out there on any level right now. Looks like the two happiest if he moves on is Kirk Cousins himself and the fans of the Cowboys.

I agree but when a player leaves a good situation for a minimal increase in salary and goes to a worst team fans can call greedy. Kc has a better chance to win in Washington than SF. If there is a huge difference in money then I don't blame KC for leaving

Who is to say what a minimal difference? Kirk has said he has a responsibility to the other QBs in the league to set the bar as high as possible. This is not uncommon at all, they look out for each other. So even if it's "only" a few million dollar that is enough of a gap.

Nothing but baseless speculation here but I don't think Snyder likes him or wants to sign off on a 100M deal.
