I am happy we didn't sign Thorton. I am on record as saying it would have been nice to have him but with about $10M in cap space, to pay over 60% of that space to a guy who is coming off surgery and on the wrong side of 35 would be a mistake. It's going to be a mistake for the Sharks. Glad it was them and not us. It will be interesting to see if they keep Marleau.

Don't really get why Blake doesn't want Iginla unless he is asking for too much. Iggy is a leader and competitor and showed how badly the Kings need someone who can give a real net front presence.
