He is awful just awful, but when paying someone that much money and investing your future in them why bench them when you know exactly what you have on the bench? If it was a young QB with any potential at all I could maybe see benching him and giving the youngster a start but it's Gabbert. If this is long term I just don't know.

Hopefully he gets the job back before we play them again :dhd:

The Vikings losing to this team was probably the worst single game loss in the last decade for a Minnesota team. Just was inexcusable.

How did Kaepernick look so good when Harbaugh was there? I don't get it.

Honestly it doesn't matter who plays but they are clearing cutting ties with Kap at the end of the season so they don't care about his future as a niner.

Most of the contract isn't actually guaranteed. So it's actually not too bad. If they cut him before April they save a lot. Which they'll do obviously. I don't think anyone would trade for him even if they wanted to.
