Just how bad are refs missing downfield lineman?

I guess Alabama is getting in on the action too. I mean, if they aren't going to ever call the penalty, why not? Alabama got away with one last week where the guy was blocking 10 yards down field, all the refs missed it.

Jake Cotton from Nebraska got hit with one a couple weeks ago. He was about 8 yards down field.

It negated a big play.

In the Arizona-UTSA game I has to rewind a play to make sure I wasn't just being paranoid, but there was indeed a lineman 12 yards downfield and the pass was to a receiver running a slant. They need to start locking down on this shit.

It was called in a CFB the 2nd weekend, don't remember which game though. But yeah, I see a lot of it not being called.
