To me running back is the most difficult position to project. If we get him, great. But I'm more interested in going head to head with Bama for their most coveted position.

It's worth noting that they just reeled in a 5 star RB this year.

Would agree that it's one of the more difficult.. but sometimes you can tell they have that special umph that they need.

I tried and tried to understand the Thomas offer, and don't get it at all

I think this sums up Reggie Davis pretty good:

it is odd that MR and Brian Stewart were the first guys to give Jordan a call..

Reggie comes in with bigger credentials than most though, curious to see if he's around next year

Davis stuck out as the weak link (to me) from day one. I'm also skeptical of Hughes, but for different reasons.

Yeah if they were pulling out all the stops you'd think they'd want the position coach involved.

There's a lot that goes on that we have no idea about, but it's possible Davis is a poor recruiter.

The boys over at RR$ aren't too happy about Hughes as a recruiter either

it's all way too early to make any sorts of calls, and we'll see how it works out.

Aphonso just looks like a mediocre high school RB to me, but what do i know

The other two Wisconsin recruits were dumped during the coaching change. I'm not sure if it was because of concerns over admissions or the new staff just didn't like them. Both of them were 2-3 star guys who were recruited for their pure speed...they were both 4.3-4.4 guys who were going to run track.

The Oklahoma recruit was a 4 star who had offers from about half of the top programs, including Nebraska. The two Texas Tech guys were 3-4 star recruits who had a ton of offers but likely went to follow their high school coach. Both of them actually had Nebraska offers as well.

Was reading about South Oak Cliff earlier. Apparently they failed to pass "No Child Left Behind" standards in the mid 2000's.

No child left untested is an absolute joke... Standardized testing is a billion dollar industry. Congress is becoming the national school board.

And this has been a bi-partisan venture, so this doesn't necessarily reflect on my political views.

The SEC has special rules down there. Cash will show up and he'll land at Bama.

Devine Ozigbo was unhappy on July 26, but he has done a 180 he says in his latest twitter.

https://twitter.com/trulydevine_22

I was wondering how he was dealing with this news.

Marlon Lucky was a big time recruit. As was Thunder Collins....

Sounds like his mom wants Bama or Miami.

Seems like moms get there way a lot and those schools prob give better kickbacks to mom
