Yes but let’s take a look at the quarterbacks Harbaugh has chosen according to Rivals.

Rudock- pro style QB
O’Korn - pro style QB
Peters - pro style QB
McCaffrey - pro style QB
Luck - pro style QB

Maybe he knew he couldn’t succeed with Alex Smith in San Fran and the only option he had was Kapernick.
The new kid coming in is also a bit of a runner. I think he likes that wrinkle but doesn’t actively target those guys.

Will Patterson be able to run Harbaugh’s offense? He’s a dual threat QB while Harbaugh wants a pocket passer.

I'd rather have a dual threat QB given Michigan's OL, especially if the pass protection woes linger next year. Patterson has already played on a team with shitty pass protection.

Which is why he missed the second half of the season.

:2cents: Maybe it was just me but Michigan(especially the offense) looked like they had no desire to be there. It looked like they were just going thru the motions.

Michigan's loss to Sakerlina was due to technical difficulties:

What's really shocking is how bad his situation with QBs are. The guy has all the resources to recruit and develop some of the best QB talent in the country. He's a QB himself and developed guys like Luck, made noodle arm Alex Smith respectable, did a miracle with Colin X considering how much he sucks with accuracy and decision making, but since arriving at Mich, it's been a parade of stiffs and transfers. Stunner how bad he's been with that since arriving at Mich.

Higdon is a "pocket runner". He can only run within the confines of the blocking before him. He cannot break through on his own and does not have the speed for HR capability
really? he seemed really good the games i saw him, but it was limited

exactly. He's a bust. they just refuse to acknowledge this fact yet. He's become their John Cooper..... a bunch of 8-4 and 9-3 seasons with a 10-2 thrown in once a decade...... congrats skunk weasels...... Enjoying their coaching woes. Richrod............ brady joke.........jimmy harbaugh......

having OSU, nebraska, Penn st., Wisconsin, and MSU be tough is enough.......

He is hit and miss. Not the the type of back that can tote it 20 times and be effective. His YPC isn't going to be productive. He can have great games against the likes of Indiana and Maryland but not Penn St. or Michigan St

....to receive his statue in Ann Arbor as a "Michigan Legend".

After all, the "Legendary" Bo Schembechler has a statue in Ann Arbor....

Jim-Harbaugh-Schembechler.png

....and Bo boasted a "Legendary" Bowl record of 5-12 with no national titles.

So....you're doing a great job Jim Harbaugh....you're well on the way to achieving the Michigan Wolverines standard of being "Legendary".

Congrats!
