I blamed the Marlins in 98 and 04 when they broke up World Series champs to save cash but who blames them for this year??? I mean I am fairly confident they can win 65 games again without having to pay 100 million+ to do it.

Not sure how true it is but I heard a rumor that they told Reyes to go ahead and find himself a nice house to buy in Miami and then days later shipped him to Canada. If that's accurate then they truly are

Loria is a jerk, but I'll never feel sorry for any professional athlete making millions. Reyes signed a contract without a no trade clause. It was his choice as a free agent. He didn't have to sign it. Now he has to live with the consequences. He's now on a team with a chance to do some serious damage this season. POOR BABY!! CRY ME A RIVER!!

Just looked for a similar Tweet from Kurkjian or Knobler one (can't remember) the first day of Spring Training and they said they hardly knew any players on the field.

the hurricanes will be playing in that new stadium within the next 10 years if they can negotiate out of the sunlife deal. and the marlins will be contracted or shipped off. Over half the fanbase for season tickets were from broward and palm beach county. And they didnt make up those losses when they move the team further south.

I went to many games at the old stadium. It was not great, but it was close. With the new stadium in Miami, I will not be going anymore. And that is how most of the fan base fells.
