I think Bochy saw the Astros lost already today and decided to take a chance with the weak part of our bullpen. His goal going into today was probably to save the good pieces in the bullpen as we’re probably going to need them on the long road trip coming up.

im ok with the split. The snakes threw a pitcher at us who nobody was able to solve and we got to him. We threw our #4 and #5 against them. They were very stingy and almost got to our stronger pieces of the bullpen in the first game.

Went to the game today and Josh Jung is a monster. I don’t trust Heaney farther than I can throw him, and Leclerc is awful. Time to send Leclerc down and bring a young arm up.

I agree with this philosophy generally but we sure don’t want to burn our pen for the post season.it is evident our pen as constructed is inadequate for the long haul

can someone explain why they’re blaming so much of their start on dusty, Maldonado, and abreu? They’re aren’t doing that bad and their problems seem bigger than that.

Seems like pitching injuries are the biggest issue

Abreu is not as good as they hoped. Bergman started off slow.

All things considered? Did you not see the pitiful bull pen relivers? They cost the game when Dunning was available.
