Pitching matchups are in the snakes favor. It looks like we face their #1 and #2 with our #4 and #5.

id be ok with a split. Light week for the rangers with no game Monday and Thursday.

to this day, I still can’t believe the rangers hired Jeff banister all just because he had a good lunch time conversation with Jon Daniels. I’m glad the rangers woke up and threw the banister into the trash canister.

You could tell that he “never ever quit” in his stroll down the first base line.

I think what made Banny terrible were his assistant coach connections or lack there of. The assistant coaches we had were terrible while Banny was here. I also hated the “hero ball“ style he pushed where striking out is totally ok as long as you’re trying to hit a home run.

it led to a boring style of play where we hit tons of solo homers because guys were striking out a lot, not putting the ball in play, and not getting on base.

brocail stunk it up as pitching coach where he would constantly say “the strategy is sound” and ” the plan is good” the players just aren’t executing it.

The fact that he is 5th in the Power Rankings shows what an uphill battle he has to garnish enough votes. That is the worst part about the new system that awards extra draft picks to award winners in certain categories. The media cannot be trusted to be unbiased.
