He has a career 3.58 ERA over 56 Minor League starts. The D-backs selected him in the fifth round of the 2020 MLB Draft. He excelled in 15 Triple-A starts dating back to the middle of last season, posting a 3.00 ERA with 104 strikeouts and only 20 walks in 87 innings.

Guess I was wrong. They are throwing a kid in his major league debut.
