Jay Cutler is average at best and injury prone. If he misses an average of 3 games a year from the ages of 26-30, imagine how many games he will miss from 31-38.

I am not surprised by this. There is a lack of good QB(s) in the NFL right now. Had he hit the market, there would be at least 5 teams clamoring for him & possibly more. Guaranteed money is the key here. I doubt it will be as high as some of the previous QB extensions we have seen over the last couple of seasons.
