He was the guy I wanted at 4, and wasn't pleased we passed on him. That said, I hadn't seen where he had micro fracture surgery in HS. Now having a meniscus tear in the same knee apparently and it would be somewhat worrisome to me to have drafted him at 4 overall. Hindsight is all that, but knowing of the micro fracture, might be the reason the Boys passed on him. That or they were all in on Zeke, who knows?

He did??? I didn't even know that. I can't imagine drafting a guy who's had that surgery. It's a career been killer. It's the herpes of sports injuries; stay away.

Yea, I was thinking maybe that's why Ozzie didn't think he was worth what Jerry wanted to trade up 2 spots....
Anyway, you guys got a big time RB and we got a big time LT that we really needed, so it's all good !!!

I still thought the pick was lackluster at the time. Just because Ramsey got injured doesn't mean you can play hindsight and say that this pick is now good... that'd be like saying, "So how about Aaron Rodgers over Alex Smith!?" now.... give me a break. If Elliott did the same thing in place of Ramsey it would be unfortunate and the pick still was bleh. Ramsey is unfortunate, and the pick was still one of the best on day 1.

Terrible luck for the Jags. The fear was always get through preseason without sustaining a major injury. Now it's just get through OTA's without sustaining a serious injury. Hope Ramsey recovers quickly and gets back on the field.
