I know it's a fairly small sample size, but are you kidding me? He NEVER showed any of this in his 3 1/2 years with the O's...
He's been good thus far, jury is still out if you ask me.
We'll see how he's done by the time the season ends.
agreed, but to see him posting a 10.11 K/9 and 2.37 BB/9 so far is pretty encouraging. His FIP and xFIP marks are pretty great, granted it is a SSS.

He is 8-3 with a 2.82 era since he joined the Cubbies last year. Always wanted to see him succeed here because his stuff is nasty but AL and Camden killed his confidence
I'm wondering what in the world has clicked for him the past few seasons in Chicago that didn't while he was here because the guy has become the stud like pitcher that everyone had envisioned he would become.
true he had his shot but was he rushed ? let's not forget matt doesn't always call good games .NL maybe? I don't know, the O's gave him a ton of innings here so it's not like they didn't give him a shot.
