My list of teams that I hate:

1. UGA.
2. Notre Dame (Less so now though).

I don't hate UF or FSU. I grew up in the state of Florida, went to GT, and wound up back here working for the public school system. Friends of mine from high school went to both UF and FSU. I have taught kids that went to FSU, UF, UGA, UCF, USF and others.

I hate UGA mostly because we keep losing to them. Plus they get 95% of the hype and love in the state of Georgia.

I hate(d) Notre Dame because they always always got ranked higher than they deserved simply because they were Notre Dame. They were the "pretty boys" of the college football world. Their deal with the former Big East was Prima Donna as fuck. Now....their ACC deal is a lot more reasonable. And I think in the back of the ND crowd's minds they realize that the days of them staying independent are numbered. So now I hate them less.

it's a real shame jojotech won't be going bowling this year....they were tied for second as the longest consecutive bowl streak....now Georgia won't have to be tied with the rugrats anymore

When you control 95% of the fanbase in the state, you deserve 95% of the media hype and love. Not our fault that people choose to not like a team that plays in the ghetto of that hellhole called Atlanta.

And I was wrong in the original post.

Aaron Murray was out with a torn ACL two years ago.

It was Hudson Mason that lead the big comeback and gave me false hope for our chances of being something last season.

You know what the state of Georgia would be without Atlanta? Mississippi.

I've lived my entire life a lot closer to the Tennessee/North Carolina line than I have Atlanta. I'm a small town mountain boy, and that's all I'll ever be.

I have to travel all over the state with my job, and every time it takes me through Atlanta, I want to go on a killing spree. There's ghettos every where, there's no excuse to have traffic that bad, and there's no excuse for damn near every road to be named Peachtree something. When the Braves finally move to Cobb county, I'll officially have no personal business in that hell hole.

I'm not a fan of any big city, hell, I think Canton, GA has too many people.

And I've had some damn good times in Mississippi. Both at the casinos, and something that's best not posted online.

You played well on defense yesterday, Tech fans, but much like us, you're offensively challenged this season, and the killer turnovers were ultimately the difference makers. The int on the goal line, and the WR getting stripped on a drive where yall were moving the ball were deflating turnovers.

I'll always take the win, but we were 1 stupid taunting penalty(stupid on our player's part, not stupid that the flag was thrown) away from handing GA Tech their first home shutout since 1957.

We left points on the field as well. Not going for a FG to make it a 10 point lead in the second quarter, settling for a FG on the goal line and missing a mid range FG.

Yeah. After the first half, I was expecting Georgia to win something like 27-3 or something. Luckily it didn't get that bad. Hopefully we'll be able to steal a win next season since you guys will be in a transition year.

Next year will probably be a bit rough, have to expect a lot of the recruits that Mark Richt had lined up for next season will jump ship as well.

But, ultimately, I think parting ways with Richt was the right move. I wish Richt well in his future endeavors, but I'm ready to bring in the Kirby Smart/Dan Mullen era.

I DVR'd the game...and once I knew what the score was I didn't even watch. Goodbye to a miserable season. Bring on basketball.

As far as looking ahead to the 2016 season...hopefully we'll get some people back from injuries and our youth will mature. Our 2016 recruiting class is currently ranked #85...but we only have 8 committments. I'm hoping we can crack the top 40 again this year with our recruiting class.
