Huskers are (1-3) @ Miami since 1/2/1984, with Nebraska winning the last matchup down there 1/1/95.

It won't be played at the Orange Bowl though.

I like the Huskers chances.

Could be a shoot-out

I will take the other side. I already pick Miami to win this game from what I have seen of the Nebraska defense.

No pass rush from Mark Banker's Nebraska means that Kaaya is going to have plenty of time to pick apart the Mark Banker pass defense.

Right now, I am able to stick to my statement that Mark Banker should not have been allowed within 500 miles of Lincoln. He has done nothing to convince me he can coach defense.

Stopping the 101st rated scoring offense and the 92nd rated total offense team doesn't really mean much to me.
Losing to the 55th rated total offense and the 52nd rated scoring offense, tells me that Nebraska can only win in shootouts against an average team.

Miami 21st rated scoring offense and 59th rated total offense Miami hasn't played a real team yet, but they have the home field advantage and they have two wins so they will be confident. Miami's defense is playing well and they are rated first in turnover margin.

This is Miami's test to see if they are real.

I'll need to see the transitive property values before I can deduce a full guess

I think it's going to be a real close game.

I think you'll see a Nebraska team that works extra hard to not hurt themselves and so there won't be a lot of penalties or turnovers. However, that may not translate into winning.

With that said....

Nebraska - 34
Miami - 30

The reason I think we win is simply due to coaching and experience at skill positions.

Our WRs are going to have a big big night. Westerkamp is due for one of those.

Wheel have the full LB core starting for the first time as well which could help the DBs some, possibly. Conspiracy wise I think we've been holding out a bit on the Offense

Isn't it a little bit weird how we featured Newby last night in a game that we knew we were going to win?

We could have given so much experience to Wilbon and Cross, but instead it was the Newby show against South Alabama.

I'm wondering if we were just trying to look as basic as we possibly could heading into the Miami game.

I found it quite odd indeed, not even one snap for Wibon er Cross until the end minutes. This just pertained to the offense however, yet we still haven't seen our completed full starting D

I don't know guys, I just have some really good feelings heading forward. I really do.

I believe we are in such better hands now than we were a year ago. I think we'll see it more and more as the year goes on.

If we can just manage to make it by and win some of these early games, I think we're going to see a much stronger Husker team in the 2nd half of the year.
