I truly thought this season could be different, but it's turned out to be the same old garbage. It's no longer early in the season where playing like turds can be minimized and false hope can be paraded around.
I fully expect another beat down from the Pirates today, but after this they play 7 games against two of the few teams worse than them: the Padres and Astros. I am going to give them this stretch of games before I check out as an active fan. If they can't put together 6 or 7 wins here...I'm done.
No need to deride me as not being a "real fan". I fully admit I will not pay money or spend time watching a bad product, but will if they are remotely competitive. If that makes me a bad fan in your book...that's fine.
