Who is the leading front runner to replace him when he joins forces with Jerry?

How bout them Cowboys!!

And don’t come at me with “well he didn’t take the Redskins job.”

If Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield continue to be not so good in the pros does that take a little shine off of Lincoln? It's one thing to win when you have superior talent to 95% of the teams you play it's another to coach men against other men playing for their livelihood.

If Jason Garrett goes, he'll be the number 1 candidate to take his place.

And then Tomlin has to go put up with Captain Dan in DC? I really don’t want that for Coach Tomlin. He’s too good for Dan’s team.

I don’t think so, myself. Lincoln is the Quarterback whisperer.

And I agree with your points here. I think he gets the chance on the biggest stage to see if he can do it, we won’t know until then.

welp, he's not good enough for my team, so i dont really don't give a toss where he ends up once he's no longer in pittsburgh

LOL at all of the dreamers and haters out there.

Lincoln is going nowhere any time soon, if ever.

He's got one of the best jobs in all of CFB.

He's got a great boss in Castiglione.

The pros are a flipping headache, who wants that shit?

Reminds me of Stoops to UF or OSU, or Cleveland or where ever the next rumor had him leaving for...

Lol Baker and Kyler got drafted to 2 of the worst franchises in Nfl history.

I'm sure there are many NFL teams that would like to have him but does he want to leave College?

Not anytime soon and he's stated as such.

He and his wife want to raise the kids there from what I've heard. He keeps OU in the playoffs he's going nowhere and writing bigger checks every year he can keep it up.

It might sound hokey, but I honestly believe that he's a humble and somewhat selfless guy. A throwback as it were. Just like his old boss.

Who expected Bob Stoops to do what he did? I knew he would be flirting with a new contract at the end of this year and assumed if we hadn't done well it would have been the bitter end. But Bob isn't your average coach. He knew that Riley had already put together a de facto staff to go to Oregon, he also knew he couldn't let him go. Bob Stoops recognized the stale state of the program and couldn't imagine anyone but Riley succeeding him. He valued the University of Oklahoma and all the people he had worked with and knew that this was the right thing to do.

Lincoln Riley is just like him in this respect.

He has the potential to be legendary...and what better place to do it?

But back to the thread title. Is he a Cowboys fan?

I get that he’s got it all. But that hasn’t stopped many coaches that were in the same spot Lincoln is in.

I mean, the Cowboys job is probably the best HC job in all of football, or most desirable.

Kyler has improved every week. Proved me wrong, hopefully he keeps it up.

It has to be a major temptation. The guy that takes the Cowboys back to the Super Bowl and wins it.

That is the apex of success.
