That's more like it. Sure, he makes $24 million a year. Sure, it took him 67 games to get going....

BUT...

He isn't the only reason that the Mariners have sucked alpaca dong all season long. And he has finally, seemingly, got his season headed in the right direction.

So maybe it's time to get back to blaming the other usual suspects. Lloyd. Jack. The bullpen. Ackley. Miller. Howard Schultz and Clay Clay. Satsquatch. Aliens. The Marine layer (and I'm not talking about the 2-bit hookers that hang out on International Avenue).

I don't think the players need to be blamed and take the fall in this situation... Upper mgmt needs to shouldering the blame... For the most part, they don't have a good manager/staff and haven't put together a team that can win at Safeco...
