I was one of the USC faithful not happy with the Kiffin hire. He was a flop in Oakland and had done a not so good job during his short stint at UT; not to mention, he seemed to piss off a lot of folks in the process. Who knows what this season will bring. We have a very, very young secondary that could get shredded, a new qb (probably Wittek who lost to you and GT). Could be a long year, but on the bright side, Kiffin will be gone and we can get a quality coach.

Me, me...I can answer this. You guys will suck under Lane. Period.

What's there to doubt? He's recruited well, we play defense, he isn't afraid to pull like naming Golsen the starter and he's been successful. Oh and by the way we beat Michigan and USC.

Jim Harbaugh is a great coach. I thought he did a stellar job at Stanford and even better at San Fran. I just like the guys personality for a coach. I can see why the players play hard for him.

Whywork- He is the perfect coach for San Fran. We been waiting for a good coach for awhile. We had talent just needed the right coach. He coached on the west Coast and he knows how to help make players better. Some people don't like him but overall he is a great coach and a great guy. If you ever get a chance to here him miked up its great.

This is hard for me to say GULP... I always liked him even though he was a Mich Alum(hate Mich) and coached at Stanford another team that battles with us.

How could you not be? The guy has recruited well, went to a NC, changed his system to accomodate the personnel that was in place, says the right things, has the right attitude, etc. What I personally love is that he is passionate. When players fuck up he let's yhem know, when there are blown calls he gets angry. I love seeing that.
