No Sammy Baugh?
Once you add the greats from yesteryear, Rodgers is definitely not Top 20. If you want to exclude everyone before 1960, then sure, I guess he has a case.
No Sammy Baugh?
5 superbowl appearances.I was apprehensive about putting him up there. But considering he led a team to 5 super bowls... Quite the feat regardless of how meager his numbers ended up. 300 TDs is still good enough for a top 10 spot, but its the stink of those 226 career interceptions that makes it hard to stomach lol.
Feel free to make your own list thar Nos!
Well, I voted "the cheese head is stupid" but...I don't know how to finish that sentenceOnce you add the greats from yesteryear, Rodgers is definitely not Top 20. If you want to exclude everyone before 1960, then sure, I guess he has a case.
It's obviously Monday morning. I was looking at that list and thinking of Drew Brees and Purdue.Rodgers went to Cal.....
The Packers defense deserves most of the blame by allowing 284 rushing yards. They couldn't stop the Niners the entire game. With his pitiful performance in the NFC Championship Game yesterday, he fell to 10-8 all-time in the playoffs. That’s a lower playoff winning percentage than Donovan McNabb.
So, what say you?
Thing I always love is how Bradshaw gets so much recognition when he wasn’t even a very good QBYes... Based on intangibles alone he's easily still one of the most talented QBs to ever play the game. But if we're basing this on accolades then he might slip to the bottom of the top 20. His stats are still great.
Tier 1
Brady
Montana
Manning
Brees
Unitas
Marino
Staubach
Favre
Young
Elway
Tier 2
Bradshaw
Rodgers
Starr
Aikman
Graham
Warner
Kelly
Tarkenton
Roethlisberger
Wilson

It's kinda funny how our perceptions work. Haters think a guy is trash, fanboys think a guy is the greatest ever. Me, I can't stand Rodgers. I've always hated the guy and especially hate all the hype. Having said that, I can remain somewhat objective. I think he is a very talented player that in his prime, was the best in the game. I can't take that away from him so yeah, he's one of the top 20 easily, maybe close to or even in the top 10 but who do you take out of the top 10 to put him in? Definitely one of the most talented arms we have seen. It's all subjective.
No way Elway is tier 1 and Rodgers is tier 2
You need therapy.Who is hating on him? He’s a great HOF-caliber quarterback. I didn’t realize that saying a guy is the 21st best quarterback of all-time was hate.
Well, you did compare him to Donovan McNabb. Kinda sounds like hate. And 21st is a little weak. In the 10-15 range at least, imo.Who is hating on him? He’s a great HOF-caliber quarterback. I didn’t realize that saying a guy is the 21st best quarterback of all-time was hate.
I assume you're conforming to the popular narrative that Bradshaw was merely "along for the ride" during the 70's?Thing I always love is how Bradshaw gets so much recognition when he wasn’t even a very good QB
He had a defense and was merely average at best as a QBI assume you're conforming to the popular narrative that Bradshaw was merely "along for the ride" during the 70's?
Passer Rating??? Really? He may not look like a top 20 QB lately, but he's still the career rating leader. That alone keeps him in the top 20 IMO.
