Looks like a close game. Hawks are young but talented. ISU Defense is better than last year. This game will prolly come down to turnovers. Hawks usually win if there are alot of turnovers. But the Clones are looking much better on Offense. More in control. I pick the Clones by a TD

No, but they last year they got 5 who were a 1*

if im reading it right since 2000 the record is 6-6

since '98 its 8-6 iowa st.

Iowa fans don't count those years. Those were some terrible teams Iowa has had. Iowa State was pretty much playing the high school team from Iowa City, and not the good one.

I think Davis or Martin-Manley will have to play very good. I don't see Fiedorowicz being that huge of a factor with Klein and Knott on the other side of the ball. Obviously he will have some big plays, but I don't think he will be as big of a factor as he was against NIU. I got no worries about Vandenberg, just those he throws to.

If Iowa's D can contain the rushing attack that got them last year, Iowa does have a chance. I'm sure the game plan against ISU will be far different than it was against NIU. They have a starting RB and they have an understanding on what works and what doesn't.
