Still a week away, but some long range models are suggesting we could see snow for the MNF game.

Still too early to be talking about snow early next week, but keep this stat in back pocket: #Seahawks 2-0 in home games when it's snowed.

To those peeking well ahead, yes the long range models are painting interesting scenarios late this weekend and beyond. Very early tho.

Seattle's Monday Night Football winning percentage is NFLs best. They win .703% of the time.

Look like it's something to watch for as the week draws closer. I hope it does snow on a national televised game.

I'd welcome it. I'm not going to get too excited because it's still too early to accurately predict it, but any snow, or even cold rain, we got would have to be an advantage for the Seahawks, wouldn't it?

I hope so because it'll be interesting. I think the one time last season where the team has to battle the cold element was when they played in Chicago? I think the team handles the rain just fine, but the cold is something different, we saw it last night during the SNF game because you can never be prepare for it.

Does anyone remember what happened the last time Seattle played a MNF game in the snow? The last one I can recall was a game in Philly. That one resulted in the biggest blowout in the history of MNF. Now, I know that this was a few years ago, but I can't help but think that this is a good omen for Seattle. Especially at home against a team from the deep south.

Going off memory so I very well might be wrong and don't feel like looking it up.
We have 7 straight MNF wins. NO has 9 straight MNF wins.

Be prepared.

To combat that, Seattle offers up a 7 straight win streak on MNF and they are 13-0 in the last 13 games at home.

Ya hafta take Seattle in this game.

Last thing we need a blizzard of cascade concrete, but some heavy elements will be just fine to screw with the dome boys from the big sleazy. Just enough to limit their pass game.

It'd be interesting to find out what cold air does to noise (does it amplify it or muffle it?) and if it rains or snows, it'd be interesting to find out what moist air does to noise.

I'm sure it will RAIN, on MNF. (Not)
Doesn't always rain in Seattle? Probably have 13 or 56 suicides that night also, since trolls tell us so.

What I can promise is that they will show "The Fish Flying at the Market" I luv it too, but c'mon, every time?????

The denser the media, the quicker noise will travel. Cold should speed it up too. Not sure how it would affect volume but my guess is if the media is denser, making the noise faster, I would think it will have less time to dissipate thereby being louder.

Weather now suggesting a good chance of snow on Monday and it'll be down right cold! The NWS even put out an alert today for the incoming modified arctic air that will begin Sunday.

As usual around here, it's all about timing. Will the moisture hang around long enough for the arctic air to change it to snow or will it run out before the really cold air gets here, leaving us with just a really cold MNF game instead of a snowy one? Even if there is snow in the area, will there be any in SODO during the game? That depends on how much moisture there is left and where it falls. In other words, I'm not getting my hopes up. From what I've read on komonews.com, this has hit-or-miss snow showers at-best written all over it.

Yup, I agree, so we'll have to see as the timing gets closer but we know for sure it's gonna be cold. I love watching football in the cold weather.

I hope it's nothing like the MNF game we had with GB last time and time pretty much froze on the freeways. That was a real mess.

Keep in mind the Saints are 2-2 outdoors this year. The wins were eeked out over Tampa and Chicago.

Brees also has 7 TDs and 5 INTs outdoors, drastically worse then his dome numbers.
