Now I might be a little biased, as I'm a die hard A's fan. But I'm going to go with the A's as #1 and the Rangers as #2.

Let's not forget those Red Sox either.

A's look strong. Rangers will be if we ever get our SPs healthy. Baltimore scares me, bosox not so much. They just don't seem to have a solid core or something. Don't know, can't wrap my head around them sustaining this.

For Detroit to make a run, they need consistent hitting past the 7th inning and, well, a bullpen that has more than 2 dependable pitchers in it.

I think a healthy Rangers team is the most complete, but health is never a guarantee. Oakland's playing great right now (I saw their exceptional defense first-hand tonight), but if not for last year's run, I wouldn't expect them to be able to sustain it. The West will be very close between those two teams.

I also really like the O's. The Red Sox are always dangerous players at the deadline, though, so don't count them out whether or not you like how they're built right now. I do think the O's are the more complete team, though.

I'm unimpressed with the Central overall. My bold prediction is that the Indians will win that division, though, and they could be dangerous in the playoffs, especially if they get there with a late run.

I think it is between the A's and Rangers. But if the Tigers acquire a good reliever and start putting everything together, there may be no better team in baseball. 2 big ifs though.

I'd say its between the A's, O's, and rangers. Only the season will tell us, but if the rangers can't stay healthy it'll be hard to win the division. Hopefully we continue our habit of beating up on Baltimore the next three nights because the A's just keep finding a way to win.

I wouldn't be complaining if it were my team. That said, oakland's schedule gets tougher in the second half and Texas' gets easier so it will be interesting to see if Oakland keeps pace then. I said from the start that if Texas can stay up till the all star break that I like their chances. I still do.
