Just looking at the Sox rotation, they're currently 13th in MLB in xFIP, 16th in FIP, 3rd in K/9, and 7th in GB%. But dead last in ERA. It's still not a great rotation by any stretch, but there's a lot of room for improvement, and a SP acquisition probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

As for the bullpen, that's a very good question. Tazawa I guess? Blah.

While a good point, I'd also add it's still April. Sox rotation is as much a wait and see rotation as any in the majors. Definitely not buying anything, ERA, FIP, SIERA, whatever, until at least June.

Reports are suggesting the sox could go after Papelbon some even mentioning Hamels coming as well. I don't see Hamels happening but could see a deal for pap.

Horrific from Buchholz yesterday, the pitching is destroying decent run production. Going to be a long season unless the starting pitchers start eating some innings.
