RIP Jeremy Giambi

Former Major League Baseball player Jeremy Giambi has died at his parents home in Southern California on Wednesday, according to his agent. His former teams were the Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies. Giambi was 47. Law enforcement sources told TMZ Giambi had committed suicide.

He had a few stints where he was solid, but never consistent. He had a reputation as a party boy. I don't think he was ever as committed as his brother. Which probably played a role in his inconsistency/not living up to expectations.

Did he have concussion issues in his career? It's usually football players that shoot themselves in the chest because of issues with CTE.
