Yeah the Heat should allow him to shoot more jump shots.....

He took 47 shots from 16 feet to the three-point line, connecting on 19 of them (40.4 percent)

Based on what?
This week’s video marked at least the fifth time in recent months that Whiteside has either complained or expressed some level of dissatisfaction about how the Heat handles him – which is one but not the only factor contributing to internal sentiment toward moving on from him this summer, if a viable trade opportunity arises.

His limited minutes were partly the byproduct of foul trouble, partly the byproduct of Philadelphia playing some lineups without a natural center, and partly from the apparent conclusion of this coaching staff that the team is often better playing without him.

Asked what most frustrated him from a team perspective, Whiteside cited his own issues with playing time.

So that means he only cares about himself?
To me, it means he feels he can help the team and is being held back.

I do agree talks should be held internally, but social media world is now where alot live.

I can tell you I don’t know Whiteside at all, but I approached him at a Heat event in March.
He was actually nice and talkative.
I flat out brought up the topic of playing time and he told me straight up he thought/felt/hoped he’d be playing more, so Im not at all suprised that he answers the question honestly.

At some point and time, he needs to know when to shut up.

Not only is it hurting what people think of him on his current team but this doesn't help him for his future team. Let's say Miami can't trade him and he opts out next summer as we all expect, what team will give him a long term deal seeing the way he has acted for the last 2 months?

He isn't very smart

Yeah I think so....Unless he gets hurt.

He think he is better than he is but it more depends on the season he has.

If he produce as he did in the 2016-2017 season then there is no doubt he opts out

Thats his issue/point, you can’t produce if you are losing 35% of your minutes.

Stats in the NBA is what gets you paid.

As much as I agree he’s hurting himself, the Heats ( Spoelstra) approach is hurting the team, especially if they are hoping to trade him.

I don't get the point of his ongoing complaints when Pat made it clear he would take care of it in the summer. I could bet money Pat is absolutely livid with his most recent post

He/she/It also forgot

TT champion

HW no championships
Whiteside = traded for garbage.

The 2 guys that were traded for Whiteside---- One guy, Harkless, is on a 1 year deal and the Heat had to give up a first round pick to get rid of him- an EXPIRING contract that they had to tie a first round pick to in order to get rid of----and Meyers Leonard, who is just awful.

THAT is the value of Hassan Whiteside on an expiring contract.....2 schmuck players that it took a first roudner to get rid of ONE of them. Stands to reason it would ahve taken 2 first rounders to get someone to take Whiteside without taking back equally atrocious money.

Tristan? He is an asset boiiiiii......

plus,

did anyone really think for a second that Whiteside wasn't opting into that 27M a year player option?

that was the biggest guarantee of the offseason other than LeBron failing at his recruiting efforts.
