IMHO, I think he may have believed he was getting fired anyway with us getting a new OC. He made a preemptive move to save face.

As for Penn State's issues I would be more concerned about your QB taking the time to thank everyone in the program from the President of the University to the football trainers (including prior coaches) but did not mention Franklin at all.

Graduate transfer that got buried in our depth chart. Can make big plays but is very inconsistent. Expect some dropped passes.

yeah thats been a topic of discussion. Hack wasnt recruited by Franklin, not sure I would read too much into it.

I wouldn't read to much into an OL's coach's ability who has been handicapped by scholarship reductions and scandal. Not to mention whose OL is blocking for a primaddona QB and probably hated the guy.

If Hackenberg was a primadonna then he would've de-committed after the sanctions were handed down so you can stop with that nonsense. As far as being handicapped, yes we were, but every other unit (DL, LB, WR, Secondary) got better with time while the Oline showed no improvement whatsoever.
