I think LeBron should sign with Portland...

From what I saw, it wasn't about who had the better career. It was about how each player performed at age 30.
And that has nothing to do with the conversation. That link was posted in response to me saying Lebron was already ahead of Bird in terms of careers, which is true.

Both have 3 rings

Lebron: 3 Finals MVPs, Bird 2 Finals MVPs

Lebron: 12x All-Star, Bird 12x All-Star

Lebron: 4x MVP, Bird 3x MVP

Lebron: 10x All-NBA 1st team, 2x 2nd team, Bird 9x All-NBA 1st team, 1x 2nd team

Lebron: 5x NBA All-Defensive 1st team, Bird 3x NBA All-Defensive 2nd team (0 1st team)

Lebron has more career points, assists, blocks, steals - Bird has more reb

Oh yeah, Lebron is also nowhere near done with his career.

Lebron > Bird

LeBron won a title with two different teams, that is a difference maker.

LeBron joined KAJ as the only 2 NBAers to be named Finals MVP for 2 different teams.

Yeah the Eastern conference is much easier to win than the West. This thread is just beyond silly.

That's good info and all, but the graphic was about who performed better at age 30.

Right... but the original point had nothing to do with just age 30, so it didn't really apply.

So more how at age 30 Lebron got a team to the finals with Timofey Mozgov as their #2 player on the floor. Put up a finals stat line of 36 points, 13 boards and 9 assists (bested Bird in every one of those categories in the Finals). How he became at age 30 the first player since the 60's celtics to play in 5 straight finals series?

Bird at 30 had a great great year... 30 also marked the last time Larry would help a team to the finals.
