Julius Thomas isnt going to be 100% even if he plays so I need to pick someone up, thankfully Cooks is on the IR so I have a free roster spot in my dynasty league. All the usual suspects are gone already so I need a sleeper TE for this week. Suggestions?

Top free agent TEs:
Cook - didnt practice
Wright
Kendricks
Amaro
Gresham
Chandler
Fells
Harbor
Hill
Carlson
AFS - thinking about this since it is my dynasty league and hes a rookie

The return of Marcedes Lewis is very intriguing to me

If Thomas plays, him dragging a lifeless limb behind him is a better play than all those options.

If he doesn't play take a stab in the dark with Wright.

You're last line about Lewis.. is he available? If so that's hands down the guy you grab

I would try Lewis too. But a good fall back is Tamme.

Lewis looks to be the best of that bunch, but I wouldn't automatically discount ASJ and prop the unexciting Tamme over the rook from TB.

a couple thoughts on that viewpoint:

1) CHI is going to desperately try to avoid getting burned by Evans/VJax, seeing as they let McCown go and the TB passing attack has been decent lately.
2) TB has no run game. I don't care if it's going to be Martin, Rainey, Sims, James, Dunn, Alstot, whoever - outside of a few series here and there
3) Tamme's 10 targets came after Sanders and JT were knocked out of the game, AND the donkeys were losing by 2 possessions. I just have a weird feeling that if Peyton has his team ahead on the scoreboard, Tamme doesn't see half those looks.
4) Tamme wasn't all that great in replacement of JT last year, but there was a healthier Welker, and healthy Decker and DT at that time - so tough to compare those 2 situations

hope some of that helps you make up your mind!
I'll be posting my own TE dilemma on another thread, hahaha.
