I was driving home and listening to the radio. They were talking about the Super Bowl being in NY. It got me thinking and this is purely hypothetical, so please no comments from fans of other teams.

Wouldn't it be just the Lions luck, that they'd make it to the Super Bowl this year and it would be held at an outdoor stadium in the middle of winter, instead of a temperature controlled dome game like it has been for years.

Don't know why this popped it my head, but thought I'd share it here and see what other Lions fans think.

I don't believe a NFL team has ever played in there home stadium during a SB....If that holds True. The Giants no matter how much Smitty loves them to win the NFC East won't be there.......

I'm starting to think the Eagles are the team to beat in the NFC East myself......Granted the East sucks but wouldn't be surprised to see them win it.

As a football fan, I remember the Colts and Bears SB game outdoors and it was quite frankly a boring SB.

I also think the eagles take the east. The boys pass defense is atrocious. The lions wont be in the superbowl. They wont win a playoff game this year but hopefully this time it carries inti next season amd they can continue building a winner.

Trust me, any Lions fan will gladly take a Super Bowl appearance -- even if it's in minus-5 degree weather -- and getting that monkey off our back.

I bet those tickets would be pretty pricey!

I bet a home playoff game at Ford Field would be pricey! They could move the game to Michigan Stadium and sell out at 105,000.
