It's not so much the call, it's the team and players. I'm not watching, and I hope the Pats destroy them.

OP also hoped the Saints did something in OT against the Rams even after a gifted PI call.

OP also hoped Michael Thomas and the Saints RBs wouldn’t get shutdown

You need a call to get to the Super bowl? Weak ass motherfuckerers

I haven’t watched In a while.

The royal rumble is a more legitimate sporting event.

I hope that the Insurance issue absolutely buries all of football asap. These guys are crooks

Sheesh! It's a game. One that has provided me with countless hours of pleasure over the years. I know it's a billion dollar industry but who gives a rat's ass. People are so caught up in self-righteousness these days. Just relax, crack a beer, gnaw on a chicken wing, hang out with friends & family and enjoy the show!

If they admitted it was just a show, and not a game, it would be easier.

jesus dude, educate urself

No. It’s sprits entertainment. Not a real sport. Otherwise kc and Jax would’ve been the afc reps for the last 2 Super Bowls

Interesting read. There's only so much the NFL can do when it pertains to head injuries.

How long until draftees/UDFAs have to sign a waiver absolving the League of any liability for future health issues in order to play?

I see that as the NFL's answer to the insurance issue. Of course that is likely 20 years (IMO) away from any reality.

I've seen every Super Bowl. Didn't mean a whole lot and early on and for a while I liked CFL better, the ignorance of youth.

But I haven't missed one.

Even when it was 2 teams I never gave a shit about, I watched. And enjoyed. Routs were good if you were the router...

The advent of the VCR meant you could record and see it even if you happened to be working. But you had to ensure you had media blackout and you had to wait till it was over before watching, unless you had 2 VCRs. Which I did. And I used it even if I was at home.

So for a long time now I haven't given a shit about pregame, intros, commercials, halftimes or the like.

To paraphrase Homer J Simpson, Just game me Marge.
