By most accounts, talent wise he would have been a top pick, and he only even made it to us because of tearing both ACLs, and ACL injuries aren't the risk they used to be. So I'm happy with the pick.
I don't know that it's conclusive that Seattle would have taken him, though.
I can completely see them taking him though.
Seattle and the 9ers are in the same position where they have deep rosters, they'll be pushing the cap to it's limits on a yearly basis, and will be drafting late.
So I can envision Seattle following suit with the 9ers in drafting talented players that slide due to injury and redshirting them a year hoping they bounce back to the talent they would've been healthy.
