As a fan, I'd rather see at least a couple of rounds on the first night, if not three rounds like you said.

But as a Seahawk fan, there's probably a pretty good chance that Schneider trades out of the first round tonight, which makes all of that waiting even a little bit worse ...

We had our first round that year lol. Not talking about legendary drafts that teams had. Just talking about it sucks when your team trades out of the first towards the end of the first round because you've been anticipating it for so long lol.

I agree with the OP. 1st Round only is bogue; they should do at least #1 and #2.

Why not do rounds 1-3 the first day, 3-6 the second day and then finish it all off the 3rd day.... I just don't get the logic of setting everything up, getting the place filled with people and just doing 1 round the first day... I liked the draft way better prior to 2010 when we got to sit down and enjoy it all day... But hey, if they're hell bent on making it 3 day's at least split it up better....

It was much better when it was all on one day.

We used to play an awesome draft game where drinks would be distributed by the person(s) who got the picks correct. If only 1 person got it correct then they would distribute a shot to everyone else. We would only play for 3 rounds as everyone would be shitfaced and it was almost impossible to predict picks that round regardless.

Nowdays, half of the picks are announced before they are officially announced, and they spread it out over 3 days starting on a Thursday! To me the draft is a weekend event and starting it on a Thursday is blasphemy.
