Agreed. But the season was great. Shanahan blowing it in the 4th quarter sucked but they brought a lot of joy to this household during the year

These are my first comments since the super bowl. I really didn't comment much before the Super Bowl either. In short, the loss sucked. Plenty of blame to go around. I hated the long 3rd down pass late in the 4th quarter for a number of reasons. Hopefully they can build on this year. It has been a long hectic season. And while I hate the loss, I am glad the season is finally over and my Sundays are no longer tied to football. I am can now get out and do other things.

There is no doubt we all felt like chit, no doubt!

I didn't want to post immediately after fearing i'd just spew things out of angst.

But NOW that a little time has passed yes it WAS a good season, one we hadn't experienced since 2012. While this lost will sting foreever, AM glad we won the West, got into the play-offs, won the NFC, and got into the SB. This beats being 0-9 or otherwise out of the contention before mid-season. It beat talking about the draft in November.

I'll take it over less than 0.500 records season after season.
