huskers lose another series

what a tough loss. the huskers were up 4-0 in the top of the second. clean up hitter tyler farst was up with one out and the bases were loaded. i was sure that okie state would pull starter andrew heaney. heaney stayed in and forced farst into a double play. as things change, they remain the same. another situation where the lack of clutch hitting is the undoing of the team. instead of busting the game wide open, the bottom fell out. husker pitcher tom lemke had another tough 2nd inning (what is up with the 2nd inning?) and osu scored 6 in their half of the inning. the cowboys would add 5 in the bottom of the 4th. heaney would give the cowboys 5+ innings. the huskers would load the bases again in the 6th for farst. this time farst would nearly hit a home run, but it was a long sacrifice for a score. the huskers would add 2 more in the 6th to make the score 11-7. the huskers made it interesting in the 9th with 2 more runs, but okie state would shut the door and win 11-9.
